EDC Project Manager – (Japanese/English speaking)

As an eCaseLink Project Manager for DSG, a Clinical Trial Software and Services provider of technologies for the Pharmaceutical industry, a successful individual will act as a liaison with Clinical Project Managers and Data Managers at top pharmaceutical companies to implement DSG’s eCaseLink electronic data capture (EDC) software, while managing client expectations and relationships throughout the duration of the project.

Project and Relationship Management:

• Accountable for the successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous projects from design through implementation, delivery and completion
• Communicate with the sponsor organization and its vendors to ensure DSG meets all client requirements
• Work directly with internal sales representative to plan and execute project plans for key client projects
• Effectively work with project management team in US headquarters to execute project plans
• Effectively and appropriately communicate issues and opportunities to clients, team members, and internal management in a timely manner
• Organize and lead eCaseLink project implementation meetings
• Attend meetings with clients at client sites

Technical Project Management Duties:

• Verify functionality to be included in eCaseLink
• Use DSG’s proprietary software, eCaseLink
• Verify client system requirements and coordinate with US project team
• Provide training and support to end users

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• 4+ years project management experience in software or pharmaceutical industries
• Be proficient in Japanese General Clinical Practices (J-GCP) and GCP/ICH
• Set internal expectations regarding scope, timeline, and quality of deliverables
• Superior communication and organization skills
• Excellent client relationship management skills
• Tenacity, assertiveness, and desire to succeed

Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer for DSG, a Clinical Software and Services provider of Technologies for the Pharmaceutical industry, you will have expertise in web based development, C# code development, and SQL Server backend, with opportunity to gather project requirements and communicate these to other team members. Work will involve leading edge Internet technologies, ASP.NET and C#, in a dynamic, challenging environment. The individual for this position will also oversee the following processes.

Coding Language Expertise

• Asp.net C# - Expertise level of experience and understanding.
• Asp.net C# - primary language used
• SQL Server & Classic ASP experience.

UI (front end), Middle Tier and Backend

• Experience with Grids / Repeaters controls & AJAX, and Reporting Tools
• Work with SQL database design and development expertise in ASP.NET and C#
• Use the coding methods for specific programming language to enhance or initiate efficient program execution and performance
• Monitor production programs for expected performance and respond to errors and emergency problems
• Ensure action is taken to correct problems encountered during systems operations
• Maintain integrity of program logic and coding and establishes required checks and balances for operational controls.
• Create Libraries/DLLs, experience with Service Oriented Architecture / Web service
• Experience with ADO.Net, object oriented programming skills
• Backend; Experience in working with Stored Procedure, Triggers, SQL Functions, DTS, SSIS etc.

Other Responsibilities

• Working with the Project Managers and customers from time to time.

Qualifications:

• BS Engineering or related subject and 5-7 years software development experience.
• Must have at least 1-3 years of Lead Experience
• Hands-on experience with the following: ASP. Net, C#, AJAX, IIS, ASP, SQL Server
• Web Development experience required
• Windows 95/98/2000/2003/2008, Windows NT
• Attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Good time management skills
• Ability to think logically for interpreting and analyzing problem.

EDC Project Manager

As an eCaseLink Project Manager for DSG, a Clinical Software and Services provider of Technologies for the Pharmaceutical industry, you will act as a liaison with Clinical Project Managers and Data Managers at top pharmaceutical companies, to project manage the implementation and support of clinical data using eCaseLink™, DSG’s electronic data capture software. Project Managers with less than 4 years experience will be considered edc Project Coordinators.

Job responsibilities include:

• Liaison with the sponsor organization and its vendors to ensure that DSG meets the client’s requirements
• Organize and run project eCaseLink implementation meetings
• Gather data requirements for the clinical project, based on the protocol and client requirements.
• Attend meetings with the client at the client site
• Create the EDC screens, database design, and validation specification that outlines data field requirements and appropriate edits
• Create client customized specifications
• Verify functionality to be included in eCaseLink
• Use DSG’s proprietary software (eCaseLink)
• Create and manage project schedules
• Provide training and support to end users

Clinical Data Manager

As the Clinical Data Manager for DSG, a Clinical Software and Services provider of technologies for the pharmaceutical industry, you will provide support to DSG’s eCaseLink division and all activity related to Data Management. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate all Data Management deliverables as specified in the contract with the client, including:

• Data Validation Specifications
• Prepare Data Management Plans
• Prepare Export Specifications
• Review Data
• Generate and Manage Queries
• Medical Coding using Auto-encoders (MedDRA, WHO)
• Provide Routine Status Reports
• Database Lock Activities
• Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, and audit procedures in conjunction with Quality Assurance Manager
• Run routine Data Management meetings and attend Client Project Team meetings
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Minimum 2-5 years Data Management experience in the pharmaceutical industry; prior EDC experience preferred
• Superior communications and organizational skills

Quality Control Associate

The Quality Control Associate is responsible for working directly with the eCaseLink system, verifying functionality of case report forms.

Responsibilities

• Verify functionality to be included in eCaseLink application
• Perform Validation Testing
• Perform Regression Testing
• Perform Integration Testing

Requirements

• Bachelors degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Superior attention to detail and accuracy skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• PC skills such as Word, Explorer, and exposure to other form design software

EDC Project Coordinator

As an EDC Project Coordinator for DSG, a Clinical Software and Services provider of technologies for the pharmaceutical industry, you will work closely with the DSG Project Managers servicing online clinical trials. This position will provide key support services for the Project Management Department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide assistance with resolving client inquiries by effectively communicating with Project Managers and other internal departments in a timely and accurate manner
• Responsible for agendas, roll-call and meeting minutes for project team and client status meetings
• Entering project eCRF layouts in the Project System
• Proofreading forms designed by the DSG design group
• Attend on-site and off-site project team and client meetings, as required
• Create and Update Service Requests for Pages in Project System, as directed
• Performing site validations for site builds and code moves
• Moving and verifying pages, and update workbooks and work forms in Project System
• Create Annotated eCRFs when directed by Project Manager
• Create Export Specification shell as directed
• Project Specific Checklists to be validated weekly
• Create Test Sites and User IDs, assist with validating Production Site and User ID entries
• Perform related duties, special projects, and/or other functions as required

Requirements

• Prefer a 2 or 4 year college degree
• Superior communication and organizational skills
• Excellent time management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and be able to work well under pressure
• Customer service orientation and ability to work independently
• Strong computer aptitude and good proofreading skills

• 2 years experience in a Project Coordinator or client services role
• Experience in the software and/or pharmaceutical industries a plus
